Early Life and Education
Zydecco’s roots run deep in the heart of Karamoja, a region known for its rich cultural heritage. He embarked on his educational journey in Mbale for primary schooling and continued his secondary education in Jinja and Gulu. However, it was during his time at Kiira College Butiki that his passion for music began to bloom.

He enthusiastically participated in interschool rap battles and interhouse music variety nights, where his talent for rap began to shine. Throughout his career, Zydecco has released several notable tracks, each showcasing his evolving skills and unique style. “Ground Zero” marked his debut track, introducing listeners to his world of rap. “RapGod” solidified his presence in the rap scene, and “Generals” featuring Dilla Roxtar added to his growing repertoire. Zydecco’s latest single, “Amazing,” is a love song featuring Jetkid from Kaabong, showcasing his versatility as an artist.

He serves as the CEO of the Masterminds Youth Society, a group committed to nurturing and identifying talents while promoting their growth. Furthermore, Zydecco is also part of Right For Education Uganda Chapter, which falls under Right For Education Africa. This is a group of enthusiastic Writers who share knowledge and information especially about Africa raging on various topics. Right For Education Africa is having a number of Chapters in several Countries as well as societies in several Universities such as Oxford University, Soroti University among others.
Academic Pursuits
In addition to his music career and leadership role, Zydecco is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Medicine at Makerere University. His commitment to education highlights his well-rounded approach to life, balancing the demands of academics with his passion for music and youth empowerment.
