Mr & Miss Gorgeous International (MGI) is a worldwide pageant organization headquartered in Anambra State, Nigeria. It aims to celebrate cultural diversity, promote originality through social skill and self-confidence training, and prioritize the nurturing of contestants to embrace and express their cultural identity. MGI advocates for girl/boy child protection, encouraging its winners to be humanitarians and use their voices to demand societal good, care, and provision for children.

When did the series start in Uganda?
In Uganda, the series began in 2023, with the first edition seeing Patience Wawina crowned as Miss Gorgeous International Uganda and Solomon Kayongo as Mr. Gorgeous International Uganda.
When was the crowning event for 2024 held?
The crowning event for the 2024 Mr & Miss Gorgeous International Uganda took place on November 4th, 2023, at Victoria Mews.
How many people participated?
Over 20 participants initially entered the competition, with the field narrowing down to 9 finalists during the grand finale.
What criteria were used?
Participants had to meet certain criteria, including being between 18 and 32 years old, unmarried, possessing a valid ID/Passport, and being able to express themselves in both English and their mother tongue. Registration required a fee of Ugx 50,000.
How many winners did you get, and what are their names?
The winners for the 2024 edition were:
- Nabaasa Benad as Mr. Gorgeous International Uganda
- Shadli Said Bazmal was the 1st Runner-up
- Ngobi Innocent Marvin came as 2nd Runner-up
- Rebecca Mirembe Kisakye as Miss Gorgeous International Uganda.
Other winners included Nassuna Faith (1st Runner-up), Kaitesi Elizabeth (2nd Runner-up), Namanya Winnie (Public Choice), and Ampumuza Sandrah Kendrah (Best Swim Suit).
Who was the best during Mr & Miss Gorgeous Uganda?
The title of “Best” was distributed among the winners in various categories, reflecting their achievements in creative wear, sports, talent, best-dressed, and more.
What next after this stage?
The winners, crowned in November 2023, will go on to represent Uganda in India in July 2024. This international platform provides an opportunity for Mr. Gorgeous International Uganda and Mr & Miss Gorgeous International to showcase their talents and promote the rich cultural diversity of Uganda on a global stage.
