Gravity Omutujju Predicts Mikie Wine’s ‘Tusabaale’ Concert Will Flop on Shared Concert Date

Gravity Omutujju has boldly predicted that Mikie Wine’s ‘Tusabaale’ concert is set to flop on their shared concert dates. The two concerts will happen on 7th September, and despite being held at different venues, Gravity Omutujju is confident that his show dubbed ‘Embaga ya Isma n’amina’ will reign supreme and outshine his opponent’s.

During his press conference, the ‘Okwepicha’ hitmaker boasted about his six-year-long streak of holding concerts at one of the biggest venues in the country and pulling some of the largest crowds known in the history of Uganda’s music industry. He credited his huge success to his entertaining performances and consistency in the dynamic industry, something he believes his rival lacks.

“Mikie Wine will flop. Why would he? How do you choose to go to his show instead of mine? It’s not that I do not want him to get people, but that is the fact. He can’t confuse people after spending a long time without doing music, and you want people to come and spend their money on you and leave me?” he questioned.

Gravity Omutujju also threw shots at the former Firebase Crew singer, claiming that he had been overhyped by the fact that he is Bobi Wine’s younger brother. Bobi Wine has found favor with music lovers, and whenever he graces a show, fans flood the venue to get a sight of him performing. Gravity Omutujju, however, states that people will not fall for their sympathy card this time around as they are looking for entertainment, and since Mikie Wine doesn’t actively release music, they will not find value in attending his concert, leading to disappointing numbers.

“He got people who overhyped him, but he will be surprised because people want music, they want to be entertained. They (Mikie Wine & Bobi Wine) are very mean; they do not invest money in music, and they want to eat out of it. They use their sympathy cards and cry for people. This is not politics but happiness and enjoyment. People want to dance. If we get to politics, we know where to go,” Gravity claimed.

With unshakeable confidence, Gravity Omutujju declared that he could battle both Bobi Wine and Mikie Wine combined and still come out victorious. “No one should lie to you that they (Bobi & Mikie Wine) can outdo me when it comes to doing music and pulling the crowd. I’m not even bragging, but you all know it. Even when they get a group of people to hype them, they will never handle me. I will battle all of them, their entire clique,” he bragged.

Mikie Wine’s show will happen at the Jahazi Pier, Munyonyo, while Gravity Omutujju will be at Lugogo Cricket Oval. Both artists will have people paying Ugx. 20K, 50K, and 3M for ordinary, VIP, and a table, respectively.
