Speaking on Sanyuka TV’s Uncut show, Shakira Shakiraa expressed her ambition to become the next Kampala Woman Member of Parliament in the upcoming election.

Who is Shakira Shakira?

Shakira Shakiraa, born Shakira Kamulegeya Kyebalaba, is a Ugandan singer, songwriter, and actress currently based in the United States. She has gained recognition for her contributions to the Ugandan music scene, blending various genres to create a unique sound.

Throughout her career, Shakiraa has collaborated with several prominent Ugandan artists. She worked with David Lutalo on the song “Am in Love,” which has garnered significant attention, however he song with Gravity Omutujju title “Doozi” was the talk of the town.

Why Does Shakira Shakira Want That Seat?

In an exclusive interview, Shakira Shakiraa stated that she is capable of making significant changes if she becomes a Member of Parliament. However, she jokingly added that her symbol would be lipstick.

Shakira Shakiraa expressed her openness to joining any political party that is interested in her. She also added that she sees herself as a flower and will be both the flower and the face of that party.

She also clarified that she is a doctor by profession, setting aside the jokes and comedy in the art industry.
