Who Is Allan Kutos Katongole?
Katongole Allan (aka Allan Kutos) is an actor in the Sanyu series on Pearl Magic Prime. He is also a commercial model for ads like Airtel Together We Can in 2014, Bride & Groom Magazine edition 2013-16, A-Team Models and Muscian(THE COLLECTION ALBUM with 8 songs in 2015).

Allan Kutos was born on 13th October 1989 in Kampala Uganda and is a former dancer. He danced in several groups including TMS – Truth Made Solid at Watoto Church, Chain breakers at Makindye Christian Center, and Revolution dancers at Makindye Christian centre. Childhood And Personality Of Allan Kutos
Allan Kutos Katongole was born in Nsambya hospital, Makindye Kampala. He has 14 siblings including the Uganda RnB star Michael Ross and the famous Stella Nante. Stella is popular in the film industry for playing a common tv show called HONOURABLES as well as Deception of NTV Uganda. Their parents are Kasibante JOSEPH and Immaculate.
While he’s energetic and strong, Allan is a simple laid out person. He says that Christ Jesus is his number one. “I like to serve Jesus Christ above all,” Allan confesses, “I love to work a lot and love being a perfectionist.” He also told Kampala ET that he is a huge fan of comedy.
“I came from a Church background that has really grounded my sanity,” reveals the incredible actor, “and had a spell of leadership even throughout my school times as an entertainment Prefect throughout my secondary.” We asked if he is single and he revealed that he is not yet married and has no kids, but looks forward to it.

Katongole started schooling at a kindergarten school called BBC Kindergarten in Makindye, then went to Batvalley Primary School for primary. For secondary education, Kutos attended St. Lawrence Crown City (aka KABAKA’s LAKE) during his O’ LEVEL. For A level, the smart lad went to St. Lawrence Cremeland then on to Makerere University.
Internship
Allan Kutos did his internship at Creative Africa.
He then went on to City Tyres (Ben Kiwanuka branch).

Katongole Allan was initially a musician popularly known as Kutos and he had a successful career until he switched to acting.
So, we asked Allan Kutos how he the acting industry on Pearl Magic Prime to act as Oscar Gume. Here is what he said:
“My sister, STELLA NANTE called me up for a role in SECOND CHANCE DRAMA(2016)on NTV by then as DOCTOR.” Katongole spoke, “which was so short. However, it did expose me to the industry when I auditioned for a role in 27 GUNS(2018). Eventually, I auditioned for a role in SANYU SERIES in 2020 till date.”
How Katongole Allan Got To Act In Sanyu On Pearl Magic Prime
Allan says that it was during the pandemic when a random call came through for an audition call. The intriguing gentleman took the chance by auditioning using his smartphone and fortunately hit the jackpot.
Allan Kutos told John Kenny, “I remember, I was begging GOD for any job that came my way since we were in the lock down and he came through. However, it wasn’t easy going about the job. I almost quit, but thanks to the director Mathew Nabwiso, I stuck around. Matthew gave me proper direction and the support of the rest of the team too. And as of now when I look back am grateful and humbled, just want to be a better version of myself every day.” He currently acts as Oscar Gume in Sanyu.

Hobbies
Allan has been a sportsman all his life from school playing volleyball, hockey, running 100 meters, playing rugby and my best sport football.
Movies
Katongole is big on action movies and sometimes finds it hard to point out one movie. He says that he simply is a huge fan of movies. “And now that am in the industry,” says Allan, “I’m going to do what my childhood dream always dreamed about.
Music
Allan Kutos is an RnB freak just like his dad and big brother Michael Ross. He also loves listening to a lot of music since he gets singing and dancing sometimes.
Dream Destiny | Allan Kutos
Allan wishes to make it to the bigger movies internationally like in Hollywood. He also aims to share the same sets with his childhood favorite actors like DENZEL WASHINGTON, Van damn and more. Katongole also hopes to afford to support the movie industry by building up studios like TYLER PERRY’s here in Uganda. The excellent actor believes that that way, we shall have better equipment to shoot. This improves the creativity of how we’ve been shooting movies.
Advice For Young People Who Want To Be Actors
“For those that want to be actors out there, know one thing,“ reveals Allan, “acting is like any new skill! Research, study, be patient and improve your listening skills. This is because acting is all about listening to instructions mostly from directors and what the character requires you to do. Lastly, in this industry REJECTION is common during auditions and in other things but learn to let go and better yourself for the next project because it needs to get you ready for it. Besides all, I love you all.”
