I might not know your name, but at least I know that you’re reading this article either on a computer or a mobile phone! However, I wouldn’t be glad if you are doing so while eating or washing utensils. Nope! In that case, close this web page. In this article, we’re giving you knowledge on some dangerous practices to avoid while handling your gadgets.

Use of any random phone charger because it fits

GADGETS - BAD HABITS TO STOP

Just because a phone charger fits in the charging slot of your phone, doesn’t mean that it is reliable to use in your phone’s system.  It actually can be a harmful and dangerous procedure. This is because there is a special chip inside our phone that is responsible for several functions that can be damaged by the wrong cable.

Using a Laptop on your laps

GADGETS - BAD HABITS TO STOP

They may be called laptops, but contrary to their name, these personal computers are not supposed to be used directly on your laps. It’s necessary to provide them with direct access to air, otherwise, your gadget can overheat and stop operating. Therefore, it’s better to use your laptop on a solid flat surface to ease ventilation.

Leaving your gadgets in a cold or hot environment

Avoid leaving your computer or mobile phone at extreme temperatures so as to reduce the risk of malfunction or explosion. If you leave an electronic device in the cold for a long time, it will cause both damages to the battery and to the display.

Carrying your gadgets by display or lead

It’s not advisable to carry your laptop by its display, because the constant pressure of being picked up this way gets its matrix damaged, and fixing it is not cheap.

Taking your gadgets to washrooms

They are called mobile phones because they can be taken anywhere. But they are not yet intelligent enough to avoid falling into the bathroom water or toilet sink. It isn’t wise to carry your mobile phone when you go for a shower, long or short call. The device can easily slip from you and even you retrieve it, it’s most likely to have reduced capability.

However accurate you think you are, you’ll never be sure what gets into your laptop’s interface and keyboard as you enjoy your meal. You could spill liquids into your device which could mean the worst consequence for your gadget. Crumbs from your morning Rolex will surely get onto your laptop’s keyboard and get stuck in the gaps between the keys.

Holding your gadgets with oily or greasy hands

Before touching your electronic device, make sure that your hands are clean in order to avoid fast aging of your machine. Using dirty hands to operate a phone or laptop will be both uncomfortable and inconvenient.

Using water to clean your gadgets
