Popularly associated with Sheilah Gashumba and Sarah Mulndwa Muhumuza Brian a.k.a Bryan Morel who we have previously featured here is our guest. He possesses a humble personality on top of being a youth diplomat, publicist, and one of the most respectful role models to ever meet.  Few people take PR consultancy, Branding, and Publishing seriously, which is why Western companies like Facebook and Google are the industry’s big dogs.

Who is Bryan Morel?

Bryan Morel is the more well-known version of Muhumuza Brian. Muhumuza is a down-to-earth music enthusiast. He is deeply concerned about the well-being of children and women. He believes in continuous improvement through self-reflection and consistency. His path has not always been easy, as he has dealt with the world’s pain and threats. He won’t show it, instead, he keeps his head up and moving. Brian accepts full responsibility for his mistakes and rises above his own frightening but invisible scars. The focus is on the prize. He likes to think of himself as adaptable and dependable. Even when things change at the last minute, he adjusts and meets tight deadlines. His current engagements require him to be highly flexible due to the constantly changing schedule. Despite the chaotic environment, he completes tasks on time.

Background Of Brian Muhumuza | Resilience and Adaptability

Bryan Morel is a Leo born on August 4th to Mr. Muhumuza Abel and Ms. Kyarimpa Jovia, whose ancestors came from Rwampara Rugando.

“I consider myself to be multicultural.  I have been able to withstand the resistance and rigors of this changing world due to his flexibility and ability to mingle. I would proudly survive in Asia in the same way that I appreciate life in Wales during the winter season when it snows. This is because I have allowed myself to explore and appreciate both indigenous and foreign lifestyles and approaches to life.” says Bryan Morel.

His friends and coworkers are reserved fellas who will not be found in typical restaurants or shopping malls. For example, his best friend stays upcountry, and he won’t see him for months and months. They’ve gotten used to talking on the phone and texting.

Brands and individuals Bryan Morel Is Associated With

In Uganda, he was inspired by Steve Jean. Since childhood, he always believed that character, Imagery, Branding, Identity, and consistency are distinct enough to warrant one’s niche. It is critical to be creative and not do what everyone else is doing, or else you add to the clutter. He is rather decluttering by selecting Clean-up as an occupation.

Bryan Morel Publications (BMP) is proudly supporting and associating with several exceptional talents. These include Sarah Mulindwa, Jerry Fisayo-Bambi, Forty Under 40 awards, Rickman Manrick, Sheilah Gashumba, Judith Heard, Desire Luzinda, Angella Katatumba, and a few others who will be unraveled soon.

The BMP Top Of The Pops is a monthly assorted shuffling chart that promotes music creators all over the world. It is the company’s flagship product. Secondly, they run ads for large and small businesses ranging from creatives in fashion, and textiles to technology, science, and everything in between.

What Challenges Has Bryan Morel Faced In His Life?

Bryan was heavily affected by the pandemic when people were dying regularly. He lived in fear, loneliness, and mental disturbance. He was calmed by prayer, music, reading, writing, house chores, and meditation during walks. He donated food, masks, and sanitizers to his neighborhood during this starvation period. When he received a donation from Mesach Semakula/ Uganda Musicians Association, he had to grant it away to others. During this tough time, he would do Instagram Lives and Reels as well as regular exercise. As a solution, Bryan told us ” We used to do Zoom meetings with my team members and clients which also upped my networking game.”

Professionally, Muhumuza says some clients come with a rush-crush-sprint attitude expecting instant results. Over time, BMP guides them with work ethic and procedure. They eventually calm down and appreciate the process. When Brian has a chance to work with someone, he guides them into long-term conditioning. “Yes, I may be paid or pay an employee but it won’t equate to the contacts, referrals, guidance, teamwork, or trust. We better have a mutual partnership that leads to sustainable results,” he said.

How Does It Feel Working With Sheilah Gashumba?

“Working with Sheila involves paying attention to detail because she is selective and her focus is picky. When we’re working for example on a campaign, she is wholly involved and gets her hands dirty. Sheilah is the kind of person who will guide the proposal writing, calls and texts every now and then to offer extra input and support.” – says Brian Muhumuza. We asked him about the challenges he faces working with Sheila Gashumba. He said that as a Personal Assistant, he gets to deal with all the bullets that get shot at both the team and Sheilah. Immediately something deviant happens around Sheilah’s name, and unfiltered judgment and consequences are felt and faced. Bryan Morel and his team have been positioned as bulletproof to endure all the rage from competitors, tabloids, followers, and family, but it finally gets rectified. However, he says that Sheila Gashumba is such a positive vibe as her attention quickly shifts from negative events or things going differently. This means that working with her flashes some adrenaline down the spine!

What Does He Love About Himself?

Muhumuza is proud of his acceptance of the fact that life is short. He does what he is passionate about. “I have not let fear stop me!” exclaims Brian, “It is a high price paid for not following your heart and living the rest of your life wishing you had. I’m glad I’m finally living the truth. I have forgiven those who have wronged me and I do repent for those I have wronged. I’m also grateful for what I’ve done well, and then I go out and help others. I am a tough person who has survived adversity countless times.”

What are his hobbies?

Music!! Literature!! Pencil and paper!!! Even with Grammarly and Quill-bot-enabled keyboards on telephones, he still illustrates his ideas with ink from personal handwriting.

During the 2019 lockdown, Bryan Morel was mostly listening to songs with melodies uplifting enough to get him through the unappealing situation. Here And Now (Luther Vandross), Always Be My Baby (Mariah Carey), Cry (Michael Jackson), Tonkyawa (Iryn Namubiru ft. Bomba Music & Yesse Oman Rafiki), Can’t Take That Away (Mariah Carey), E Yahweh (Mr. M & Revelation), Lean On Me (Micheal Bolton), This Is Love (Rema Namakula and The Ben) and Through The Rain (Mariah Carey) are the songs that dubbed down this watershed moment.

During this period of sadness, music delivered him from complex emotions and provided validity, purpose, meaning, and a cathartic gateway.

It made him feel happier, less doomed, cheery, animated, and inclined to stand again.

He enjoys doing charity by visiting, praying for, and sharing with those in need. He usually encourages his friends, family, and the general public to do the same.

What Are Bryan Morel’s Biggest achievements?

His greatest accomplishments are the lessons he learns daily. He has adopted humility over the years no matter the further steps he takes. According to him, “Everyone he meets has a unique story and lesson to share.”

Teamwork is another skill he has achieved.

He is also proud to have attended the International Youth Conference (IYC 6) with a base in the United States of America, which was co-organized by the Mayor of Cambridge.

Bryan Morel Publications has submitted and received over 8 nominations for the Forty Under 40 awards 2023 in South Africa including for Jerry Fisayo-Bambi and Sarah Mulindwa. Judith Heard has also been featured on Africanews’ TV show Inspire Africa on changing perceptions toward the modern fashion, modeling, and beauty industry.

What does it feel like working with famous personalities?

It is a long-time challenge that is result-yielding. This experience has accelerated Bryan to rise into his Consultancy and Publishing hub – Bryan Morel Publications (BMP). He started young and it was entirely passion and voluntary service. That chapter is now closed and he has channeled everything into business so we anticipate the lad is unstoppable.

It is hard to maintain face-to-face relationships in this smartphone era. The solution to this public discipline issue is to create a system that takes in effort, engagement, and outcomes which is the ideal reason to meet physically.

If becoming famous is hard, staying famous is a herculean task. BMP continually keeps its clients in the limelight. Working with talents in that line is an opportunity that gets them so far. It’s the people behind and in front of the curtain that keep the names of A-listers in the minds of the press, fans, and wholesale and retail consumers. It is a responsibility for managing the public image of clients. This job consists of securing interviews with local, and national media, developing publicity, and social media campaigns, and issuing press releases, media alerts, and event recaps on client happenings and events.

Some famous personalities don’t necessarily need Bryan Morel Publications to create a picture-perfect image. Going better with the flow can be just as meaningful. Celebrities bring visibility, and credibility and attract lots of media attention to a marketing campaign. Celebrities can also be very demanding and difficult to work with. Successfully contacting, negotiating, and working with diverse individuals and enterprises requires critical research and specialized rules of protocol.

Bryan Morel Shares Advice for young people reading

Here are the words Brian Muhumuza told us when we asked for his advice for young people.

“The young generation has much power to shape and sharpen their future. Take the time to get to know yourself. A narrow focus yields significant results. Seek advice. Make no assumptions. Be persistent and patient. You must give to receive. Hard work produces luck. Consult with your parents and guardians. Go to school and complete your work. Complete your homework, coursework, and research. Pose inquiries. Try not to impress everyone. Always give your best effort. Don’t be afraid of fear. Make the most of adversity. Believe your instincts. Have faith in God and hard smart work. We can all help make the world a better place by taking the wheel.”
