“The Blue App Users aka Twitter users are in a frenzy of emotions at the moment. Imagine wishing for something for years and years and then one day ,the possibility of getting that thing seems more likely than ever.
The long wait for an edit button..
Apparently it had been one of the most requested features from Twitter users. The edit button. Facebook , Instagram and other social media platforms have the feature though Twitter has kinda been skeptical in doing the same.
In fact Twitter’s former CEO, Jack Dorsey back then ruled out the idea of the organisation ever adding that feature. Never say never, goes a certain saying.
Twitter has confirmed that it is working on an edit button that would allow users to change tweets after they have been posted.
How does the edit button work?
Tech experts and Writers from The Verge say “ the idea is that you’ll be able to fix any typos or errors in a tweet without sacrificing any replies, retweets, or likes it’s already accrued .”
At some point in time, for those bonafide Blue App Users, one has sent a tweet perhaps with a typing error or forgot out some key point. Now that is almost over.
The feature is expected to be on trial in the coming months on Twitter Blue.
Let there be an edit button …” Elon Musk.
The richest man in the world , Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk bought 9.2% this very week. It is believed he is the one pushing for the request for an edit button by the users.
His first tweet after buying the biggest share in Twitter as well as being added among the board members was a poll :

A number of people responded in affirmative to the question. It is likely that Elon Musk wont let down his followers.
