Who Is Nshunguyinka Javilla?

In the heart of Uganda’s Kisoro district, a remarkable individual is making a profound impact on society. Nshunguyinka Javilla is not only a senior social policy analyst and human rights activist. He is also a dedicated social justice advocate. His passion for creating positive change has led him to establish Hope for Us Uganda. This organization stands as a beacon of hope for marginalized communities.

When did Nshunguyinka Javilla start Hope For Us?

Nshunguyinka Javilla embarked on a transformative mission during his time as a student at Kyambogo University. Javilla pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Community Development and Social Justice. Since then, he recognized the urgent need for sustainable change within his community. Fueled by his vision, Javilla Nshunguyinka founded Hope for Us Uganda. He did so with the aim of addressing the pressing issues faced by marginalized groups.

Hope For Us Foundation And The Batwa Community

The core focus of Hope for Us Uganda has been to uplift the Batwa community and individuals with disabilities. The Batwa, an ethnic minority group, have long endured systemic discrimination.
