To commemorate the occasion, Ahikirizye aka Ahikyirize has made a special purchase—a luxury Range Rover Velar, a symbol of his remarkable journey and success in the world of trading. We caught up with him to talk about how he feels as a fully grown adult.
1. Can you tell us a bit about the journey of Ahikirizye Daniel in trading? When did you start, and how did it all begin?
Okay, fine. So, I’ve been trading for close to five years now. I started in 2019 when I was still in my senior six, and I was almost done with school. Then in 2020, the lockdown came in, and I was fully locked into learning trading, you know, trying to do better and all that because I couldn’t find a job. Everyone was locked up. And, yeah, it’s been a brilliant five years of trading.
2. What milestones have you achieved so far in trading that make you stand out?
In trading, we look at the lifestyle, the freedom—being able to do whatever you want. It could be traveling, buying cars, taking care of your family, and all that. Honestly, I have reached milestones in life that just seemed like dreams. But at this point, they’re happening, and it’s exciting.
The most exciting part was when I bought my mama a car last year in April. Then I’ve been able to travel and do all the cool stuff for myself. But the most interesting part is that I have inspired and helped thousands of people to learn to trade. For example, I have about 200,000 subscribers on YouTube, all learning from me—Daniel. That’s inspiring.
More than that, I’ve built a top trading academy with over 2,000 students, all learning to trade. Honestly, there’s no milestone greater than that.
Why did Ahikirizye Daniel buy a Range Rover Velar on his birthday in 2025?
3. Your birthday is on the seventh. What inspired you to buy a Range Rover Velar?
Well, I love good cars, and I’ve always wanted to buy a Range Rover. This plan was from last year, but I couldn’t find the exact model I wanted. This year, I finally got it.
I honestly love good cars, and I don’t want to settle for ordinary. That’s the thing. More than that, the Range Rover Velar stands out compared to the Sport and Vogue models. The Sport is also good, but it’s not my taste. On the other hand, Vogue is for older men with big money. I’m just a young 24-year-old guy making millions, so I opted for the Velar.
4. Why do you believe Ahikirizye Daniel is the best trader in East Africa?
Well, the numbers, the reputation—everything speaks for itself. See, back in 2019, when I started, I knew there were traders out there, but no one had made it public the way I have. From Uganda to Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, South Sudan—every East African country—I’ve even crossed into Central and West Africa.
So yes, I’m the biggest and best trader here. The numbers do the talking. I’ve made hundreds of thousands of dollars. Last year alone, I made over $200,000. Honestly, that’s big money.
5. What is the purpose of the brand-new Range Rover? Is it just for the show?
Honestly, this is for me. I love appreciating my effort. Whenever I hit a milestone, I like to reward myself for the hard work I’ve put in.
More than that, the things you purchase in life stay with you. For example, last year, I bought my first luxury watch. These watches were so expensive, but there was a specific event happening in my life, and I thought, “Forget it, I’ll spend $10,000 on watches.”
Same thing with this Range Rover—it’s my birthday, and I’ll always remember that at 24, I bought a Range Rover Velar. I already own two cars, but this one is special.

6. People say you’re misleading youth into risking all their money in Forex. What do you say?
You see, every good thing in life comes with a risk. We all know that. Trading is a real business. The problem is, that most young people come in with insufficient knowledge. They treat trading like betting or some kind of gambling, which is honestly a bad idea.
Yes, trading has risks, and we all understand that. But the rewards are huge. It’s up to the individual to understand that they’re risking this much to potentially make this much in return. Trading is the future—there’s no doubt about that.
Back in 2019, when I started, trading was almost unheard of. People would call it a scam when I mentioned it. Now, it’s a whole different story.
7. What’s next for Ahikirizye Daniel in Forex trading and personal growth?
Continuously creating more awareness. I want to create millionaires across East Africa and the continent at large. I want to see young people drive expensive cars, live good lives, and work from their phones—making money, doing cool stuff, maybe starting side businesses—all of it.
It all starts with the effort I put in. If I can spread the word to as many people as possible, things will change.
8. Is there a message you’d like to share with aspiring traders or your audience?
Yep. Remember: less talk, more action. Most people talk a lot and forget about action. That doesn’t make sense.
You could have the wildest dreams in the world, but without action, nothing will happen. That’s the trap most people fall into.

9. What are the next big plans for Ahikirizye Daniel in the trading world and your personal life?
Well, there’s a lot more coming. I plan on launching more initiatives, possibly scaling my academy to help even more students. I’m focused on achieving new milestones, traveling to new places, and, of course, continuing to make an impact in the trading world.
