CHOGM is short for Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting. This is a biennial (workshop) summit meeting of the de facto leaders from all Commonwealth nations. In spite of the name, the head of state may attend the meeting instead of the head of government. This however applies to especially among semi-presidential states.
When Will CHOGM 2022 Happen?
Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting 2022 takes place 20-25 June 2022, in Kigali, Rwanda. Commonwealth leaders will travel to Rwanda to reaffirm their common values and agree actions and policies to improve the lives of all their citizens.
CHOGM was held in Uganda in 2007 when the Queen of England was Queen Elizabeth and the President of Uganda was Y. K Museveni.

This is the 26th Meeting of the Heads of Government of the Commonwealth of Nations. This delegates gather was originally slated for 26–27 June 2020. It was however postponed twice due to the COVID-19 pandemic. On 31 January 2022, it was officially revealed that the meeting would be held on 24 and 25 June 2022.
The key point of the grand 2022 event is Election of Secretary-General, post-COVID-19 recovery.

Yes! Meanwhile Rwanda hosts over 5000 delegates from the 54 member countries of the Commonwealth, the youth seem to be fast at the frontline as well.
The Commonwealth Youth Forum scheduled to take place from June 19 to 21 at Intare Conference Arena, will gather more than 350 young people from across the Commonwealth member countries.
