Her project, which focused on keeping girls in school and providing menstrual hygiene management education, resonated deeply with judges and audiences alike. She secured a place among the top 8 contestants globally and emerged as the first runner-up for Miss World Africa.

Before Hannah, another Ugandan beauty queen, Quiin Abenakyo, made history at Miss World 2018. Her stellar performance saw her finish among the top 5 contestants worldwide. She was also crowned Miss World Africa, won the Head-to-Head Challenge, and secured the Miss World Global Vote, solidifying Uganda’s presence on the international beauty pageant stage.
