Who Is Nyabonyo Anna Charity?

She is a model, leader, land surveyor, and even an old student of Rock High School Tororo; but that’s not all, here is everything she told us! With a background in land surveying, a burgeoning career in fashion modeling, and a heart dedicated to philanthropy, Nyabonyo Anna Charity oozes tenacity and versatility. Let’s swim into Nyabonyo’s life and learn about her journey of juggling multiple roles with grace and determination. Getting to know her, for me was a heck of a plot twist as I thought it was a random girl model. I ate my words when I realized she is a whole professional land surveyor. Charity is the first woman to ever be featured on the Kampala Edge Times YouTube channel.

Where did Nyabonyo Anna Charity Get Her Education?

“My schooling journey commenced at Sacred Heart School in Tororo, where I began my nursery education,” says Anna Charity, “I continued to Tororo Parents Primary School, then Rock View School Tororo, Concerned College Ntinda for high school, and eventually Tororo Town College for O-level. I eventually went to Rock High School for A-level where I completed my High School.” As the fourth of five siblings, Nyabonyo Anna Charity was born to Mr. Robert Osinde Otege and Mrs. Apolot Magdalene Osinde. Growing up in the small village of Osukuru Corner in Tororo district, Nyabonyo’s upbringing was rooted in family values and the pursuit of education.

What Motivates Anna Charity?

Anna Charity attributes her ability to juggle various responsibilities to her unyielding belief in her potential. “From day one, I refused to give up on any opportunity that aligns with my aspirations. This led me to pursue my career in land surveying, engage in fashion modeling, and also do business.” said the rising fashion star. Follow her on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.

What is so special about Tororo?

Hailing from Tororo, Nyabonyo holds a deep connection to her roots. “My ancestral origins span from the Lwakari clan in Soni Kirewa on my father’s side and Mukura on my mum’s side. I am quite fluent in Kiswahili, Japadhola, Itesot, and Luganda,” said Nyabonyo. Notice something? Her linguistic skills reflect the cultural diversity of her hometown, which rests near the Tororo cement factory and shares a border with Kenya.

Which Accolades Has She Achieved?

Nyabonyo’s life journey has been studded with significant achievements. “I’ve had some professional successes in land surveying, particularly with Ebenezer Real Estates Limited. I have also some accolades in the fashion modeling world,” she reveals, “My passion for fashion modeling took flight in 2020, after participating in a number of competitions. These included Miss Career Africa, Top Model Uganda, Best Top Model of the Universe, and Super Models Uganda.” Undeterred by initial setbacks, Nyabonyo’s perseverance has led her to embrace her modeling aspirations with unwavering determination. She also holds the distinguished position of Country Director of Miss Africulture and an upcoming role in the Mister Universe Franchise of Uganda.

How did She Become A Model?

“My innate physical nature/attributes, coupled with the influence of people who recognized my modeling potential, guided me towards embracing my role as a fashion model. However, it was after my eyes opened during the COVID-19 lockdown that life is finite. This is why I gave the profession all my energy and time in order to be able to help others while I am alive.” said Nyabonyo.

What brands is she associated with?

Anna Charity serves as an Assistant Land Surveyor and Marketer at Ebenezer Real Estates and as a Sales Agent at Krish of Companies. Furthermore, she founded ADVOSTEM, an initiative advocating for STEM education, and holds a directorial position at SEMI SURVEYING and Engineering Company Limited.

Which was her toughest moment?

“The loss of my father, who was my steadfast pillar, stands as the most difficult moment of my life,” Anna Charity breaks down, “The absence of his guidance and support has been a deep emotional struggle for me.”

Passions, Favorite Moments, And Future Aspirations Of Anna Charity

Beyond her professional pursuits, Nyabonyo is a normal Japadhola girl with flaws and admiration. “I find my joy in various hobbies like adventures, singing, listening to music, dancing, and engaging in charity work. When I do one of these things, it gives me a sense of fulfillment deep in my spirit.” Nyabonyo’s favorite movie, “Puss in Boots,” reflects her sense of humor. The song “You Say” by Lauren Daigle holds a special place in her heart. Her best hangout spot is not a location, but rather the presence of genuine connections and shared love among individuals.

In five years, Nyabonyo envisions herself as a blessed and prosperous realtor, leaving an indelible mark in the real estate industry. About the fashion industry, she says though, “My passion for fashion modeling will continue to intertwine with my philanthropic pursuits. It may help me contribute to charitable causes and uplift the less privileged.” We asked about her dream destination, but she simply said she wants to explore the different cultures around the world.

Advice for the Youth

Nyabonyo’s life story resonates with a powerful piece of advice for young people:

Never surrender your dreams and always maintain faith in your abilities. You should never stop praying too! Every single aspiration, no matter how big, is attainable with dedication and self-belief.
