Yara Rewards Loyalty
Yara Uganda has recognized and rewarded its loyal retailers under the Yara Connect program, the company’s retailer loyalty and reward platform. Through the initiative, retailers who consistently promote and sell genuine Yara products received a variety of rewards including motorbikes, mobile phones, and Yara branded merchandise.
Among the top winners was Alice Maria Basirika, Proprietor of Mak Kwitte Agro Chemicals – Busega, who received three (3) motorbikes. Expressing her gratitude, she said:
“I was quite happy for the hard work, promoting sales. Thank you for supporting us with genuine and original Yara products.”
Other notable winners included Ashimu Multiple Enterprises (Masaka) and Rural Agro Input Dealers (RAID) (Masaka), each receiving one (1) motorbike.
Yara Building Partnerships
Speaking at the ceremony, John Meshack, Commercial Manager Yara Uganda, said:
“Yara Connect is more than a loyalty program; it is our way of appreciating and motivating retailers who champion genuine Yara products. Through this platform, we are building stronger partnerships that directly benefit retailers and, ultimately, farmers across Uganda.”

Retailers can participate in Yara Connect by downloading the app, available on the Google Play Store. Once registered, retailers earn points by scanning QR codes on Yara fertilizer bags and bottles. These points can be accumulated and redeemed for rewards displayed within the app.
In addition to the rewards, Yara organized a stakeholder training on crop nutrition and product stewardship, equipping retailers with the knowledge to better serve farmers and promote sustainable agricultural practices.
Yara’s Unending Seasonal Rewards
Ivan Sekajako, Sales Agronomist at Yara Uganda, emphasized the importance of onboarding more retailers:
“More retailers need to join the YaraConnect app because they are missing out on these rewards and the opportunity to strengthen their businesses. Our loyal retailers can now order directly from Yara approved distributors within Yara Connect and earn points. Download the app now!”
Yara Connect rewards are issued seasonally, with the next reward ceremony scheduled for January 2026. Yara Uganda encourages all agro-dealers and customers to download the app and participate in the program for a chance to win in the upcoming season.
