As the academic year moves closer to its final stretch, many Primary Seven candidates and their parents are already searching for the PLE timetable 2025. At the moment, the Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) has not yet released the official timetable. However, by looking at past patterns and how UNEB has handled previous years, we can get a clear picture of what to expect.

When Does UNEB Usually Release the PLE Timetable?
Traditionally, UNEB releases the Primary Leaving Examination timetable between late August and the end of September.
- In 2023, the timetable was released on August 31.
- In 2024, the timetable came out on September 30.
This consistency makes it highly likely that the 2025 PLE timetable will also be released around the same period.
When Do PLE Exams Usually Take Place?
The PLE is always conducted in early November. For example:
- In 2023, the exams began on November 7.
- In 2024, candidates sat for their exams from November 4 to November 7.
Based on this trend, it is safe to expect that the 2025 PLE exams will be held in early November as well.
What Students and Parents Should Expect
When UNEB publishes the timetable, it normally includes:
- The start and end dates of the examination period.
- Details of morning and afternoon exam sessions.
- Instructions about arrival times, permitted and prohibited materials, and conduct during exams.
- Special provisions for candidates with special needs, such as extended time or alternative formats.
Schools usually display the timetable on notice boards and share it with parents immediately. This helps families and pupils to plan their study timetables, transport arrangements, and daily routines as they prepare for the exams.
When will UNEB release the PLE Timetable 2025?
The 2025 PLE timetable has not yet been released, but based on past experience, UNEB is expected to publish it between late August and late September. Once released, it will provide clarity for candidates as they enter the final stage of preparation.
For now, parents and pupils should remain focused on revision and keep an eye on UNEB’s official communication channels. If history is a guide, early November 2025 will be the period when Primary Seven candidates sit for their national examinations.
