The Emoji Guy In Kyambogo Guild Race

The Kyambogo University guild campaigns have been very vigorous recently especially with the emergence of the ‘Emoji guy’. In case you’re living under a rock, the emoji guy is the FDC candidate, Okori Brian aka Team OB.

Who Is The Emoji Guy?

The young gentleman who has come a long way into the political scene has received huge embrace by the Kyambogo community especially for his charisma. Okori Brian is promoting an initiative he calls “The Revitalization Agenda” which he says will cause a huge difference at the varsity. “The Emoji Guy will reach you both physically and emotionally,” said Okori in a Twitter post.

Samson Kasumba At Kyambogo

The phrase “Emoji Guy” has gained a lot of fame in the Banda located education institution. This is so huge such that Samson Kasumba was invited as a moderator for a guild presidential debate. The veteran journalist indeed showed up at Kyambogo and facilitated the guild presidential debate between NUP, FDC and ANT. The event was carried out successfully carried out and every candidate was able to preach their manifesto on podium. This marks the end of electoral activities for 2022 in Kyambogo University and all forms of official functions.

Will Emoji Guy Continue To Lead In 2023?

On 2^nd January 2023 at 9 o’clock, there will be induction of polling assistants. Next a final guild rally on 3^rd January 2023 from 2pm to 5pm. On 4^th January, there will be a security meeting with presidential candidates. The official Kyambogo guild elections will take place on 5^th and 6^th January 2023.

How Many Candidates Are In Kyambogo 2023 Guild Race?

Currently, there are six guild presidential candidates including Aloni Alfred, Kateete Steven, Nkwanga Michael, Okori Brian, Sengooba Yunuusu and Wafula Edrine Koholo. It does look like a tight race, so it’s not so obvious that the ‘emoji guy’ will take it because physical numbers rarely directly go to the ballot. The 2023 guild presidential debate was the 19^th guild election to ever happen at Kyambogo university with honor from Next Media.
