Steval Music, real name Roger Franklyn Jr., has parted ways with Hit Tower Music, which is run by popular Ugandan music producer Aban Beats. The development was confirmed on Tuesday, November 11, via a post on Aban Beats’ official TikTok account titled “Important Update” addressed to all fans, partners, and stakeholders.

Steval Music rose to prominence with his hit single “Egaali,” and much credit has been given to Aban Beats for playing a significant role in his rise within the music industry, though there is still a long way to go. This is not the first time an artist has left the label to pursue a solo music career. Indeed, Hit Tower Music has previously seen the likes of Vyroota and Pawaboy depart.

Reportedly, Aban Beats has a show titled “The Best of Aban Beats Season 2” scheduled for November 29 at Fire Camp Kireka. Steval Music, Vyroota, Pawaboy, and many other musicians who have worked with and benefited from Aban Beats in the past are set to perform.

Fan Reactions to Steval Music Leaving Hit Tower Music
Eddy drizzy: Why is this thing common with Hit Tower? Is the contract free? First Vyroota, Lover Boy, and now Steval. I don’t understand. Does the contract state that if you get a hit, then you leave? Because it’s not making sense.
Steve kayz 205: Anyway, Aban, thanks for promoting that guy. God bless him and you too.
Mr Breaker Breaker: As a musician myself, I will never feel pity for a suffering artist because those of us who have really toiled hard for them know how badly they really pay us….. but God is the judge.
RICKY DONICS MUSIC: Hard work pays. Thanks for the help, and keep it up. Better be blessed, Uncle Aban.
Kingcyrus dehustler: You played your part well, bro. You introduced him to the industry; you will be rewarded for it.
