Sibomana Emmanuel is a Rwandan journalist, social media influencer, and Radio Drama actor who was born on February 12, 1985, in Southern Province, Nyanza District, Kigoma Sector. From a young age, he showed a passion for journalism and acting, nurturing dreams of becoming a renowned journalist and theater actor.
Choosing Journalism as a Career
“My childhood aspirations drove me to pursue a career in journalism. I felt a strong desire to advocate for the voiceless and work alongside celebrities,” he revealed. Sibomana Emmanuel is currently a TV host on a show that aims to promote peace and resolve family conflicts among Rwandan families.

Education and Career Path
Despite not attending university for journalism, Sibomana’s determination led him to gain a solid education. This is what he told us. “I completed my secondary education, excelling in English, Swahili, French, and Kinyarwanda literature in 2007. Subsequently, in 2014, I began my journey with various media houses, including Radio/TV 10, Hot FM 103.6, and ISANGO STAR (RADIO & TV).” His roles encompassed being a journalist, cameraman, news video editor, TV host, and social media manager.

One of the most challenging moments for Sibomana was not being able to fulfill his dream of studying abroad at prestigious universities like Harvard. “Nevertheless,” he confesses, I remain undeterred because life’s journey might not always align with one’s dreams.”

Becoming both a journalist and an actor has brought him immense joy and a sense of accomplishment. “I enjoy the fact that I get to do what I love—journalism and acting—and turn them into lucrative professions,” he exclaimed. His dedication and hard work have allowed him to become a recognized social media influencer, opening up new opportunities for him.
