Uganda Cranes head coach Joseph Paul Put has unveiled a 26-man squad set to compete in two crucial FIFA World Cup 2026 qualifiers against Mozambique and Guinea later this month. The squad was officially announced during a press conference held on March 10, 2025, at the FUFA Complex in Mengo.

Who will be included in the Uganda Cranes Squad?

Defender Tobby Sibbick makes his return to the Uganda Cranes setup for the second time, having previously featured in international friendlies against Comoros and Ghana in Morocco last year. His presence is expected to bolster Uganda’s defensive line.

Fixture Schedule for Uganda Cranes

  • Mozambique vs. Uganda – March 20, 2025, at 4:00 PM (EAT) in Cairo, Egypt
  • Uganda vs. Guinea – March 25, 2025, at 7:00 PM (EAT) at Mandela National Stadium, Namboole

Mozambique’s home fixture will be played in Cairo due to stadium constraints, while Uganda will return to its home ground at Namboole for the clash against Guinea.
