Nigerian and international music icon Wizkid is set to light up Kenya on 12th December 2026 at Laureate Gardens, Nairobi, in what is anticipated to be an unforgettable show by Star Boy. The event, dubbed the Detty Dezemba Festival, coincides with Jamhuri Day, Kenya’s Independence Day.

Big Wiz’s first visit to Kenya was in 2017, and he last performed in the country in 2018 during the inaugural Katika Festival at Afraha Stadium in Nakuru. Following one of his visits, he spent studio time with Kenya’s superstar boy band Sauti Sol.
The day after the Kenya show, 13th December, Wizkid will perform at the Live Out Loud Musical Festival in Abuja, Nigeria, at Eagle Square.
